JUDY MILLNER, RN, BSN
What began as an opportunity to bake goodies with residents led to Judy Millner, RN, BSN, taking on countless opportunities to support Greenwood House spanning over 30 years. As an employee and board member, when Greenwood House called on her, Judy answered! She’s taken on many challenges over the years and has demonstrated a personal commitment to the mission and care that Greenwood House is known for.
She began her employment with Greenwood House in 1996 as a nurse. Judy was instrumental in the planning and development of the Greenwood House Health Care and Homemaker Program. Working for the homecare program, she developed materials and processes for the program’s initial certification and attended to patients and families with compassion and expertise. Judy assumed the role of director of nursing for the homecare program, served as the wellness nurse for the Abrams Assisted Living residents, and assumed an interim role as director of nursing for the hospice program.
Judy jumped into volunteer fundraising for Greenwood House, putting on some incredible dinner dances. As a volunteer she also served as president of Women for Greenwood House, and as secretary of the Greenwood House Board of Directors.
