b'M E A L S O N W H E E L S Our Labbok Kosher Meals on Wheels program, supervised by Dessie Briggs and Vonetta Lawrence, ensures individuals in the Ewing, Lawrenceville, and West Trenton communities receive nutritious meals whenever they are in need. Over 150,000 kosher meals were prepared at Greenwood House last year. The program provides hot meals and optional light sandwich meals. Additionally, Greenwood House provides meals to the Jewish Family & Childrens Services various programs and Kosher Cafs, which serve the Princeton, Hightstown, and East Windsor areas. Thank you to all the volunteers who deliver food and make this a success.Thank you, The Wawa Foundation, for their continued support of the Kosher Meals on Wheels program.M E M O R Y C A FUnder the direction of Barbara Goodman, MSW, Memory Cafe Coordinator, our Memory Caf was launched in July 2019 as a social activity for individuals and families impacted by memory challenges or concerns. The Memory Caf is a supportive environment that connects people in like circumstances, while not serving as a facilitated support group. Those in attendance vary each month and engage in activities such as pet therapy, painting, and musical performances. All too often, those living with dementia and their care partners can become isolated due to social stigma and the increasing difficulty of interactions. We hope to reinstate this program as soon as state and federal guidelines allow us to reopen.11'
