The continued support of our family membersand your patiencehas meant a lot.One of the years highlights was the opportunity to celebrate together at our inaugural Battle of the Bands event. We couldnt have asked for a better outlet to gather or a more fun opportunity to reconnect. The generosity reassured us that we are indeed a fortunate community. These are challenging times for our industryas a matter of fact, we are the last 501(c)(3) charitable free-standing skilled nursing facility in Mercer County, New Jersey. Through careful fiscal stewardship and continued philanthropy, we are grateful to be able to look ahead at caring for another generation.Staying power also requires adaptability and flexibility. I applaud our board leadership for recognizing that our clients needs are changing and providing kosher meals to those who observe kashrut is the best choice for our organization. With fewer families placing our kosher kitchen as a priority, and with the increasing costs associated with maintaining it, Greenwood Houses skilled nursing facility transitioned to kosher-style. Our Abrams Residence continues to prepare kosher meals for Greenwood House residents who request them. We are a special organization because of everyone here, and everyone who entrusts us with their loved ones. We have an incredibly committed staffclinical, ancillary, and support teams. Thank you for being part of the Greenwood House family.2'
