b'H O M E C A R E & H O S P I C E The Shirley & Harold Silverman Healthcare and Homemaker ProgramThe Shirley & Harold Silverman Healthcare and Homemaker Program provides certified home health aide services to the local community. This program is overseen by Felicia Turner, RN, BSN, director of nursing. The program has a contract with the Mercer County Board of Social Services, which serves the Medicaid population. Currently the program has over 25 clients throughout Mercer County and employs approximately 40 full- and part-time certified home health aides who provide care seven days a week, sometimes 24 hours a day. The Homecare Program also offers subsidized help and services to community members in need, which allows these clients to receive care in their homes. Our Homecare Program has been certified by the T H E A B R A M S R E S I D E N C E Commission on Accreditation for Home Care (CAHC).Greenwood House HospiceEstablished in Memory of Renee Denmark PuniaGreenwood Hospice, established in memory of Renee Denmark Punia, serves clients throughout central New Jersey in whatever environment they call home. The hospice team includes Medical Director David Barile, MD; Administrator/Director of Nursing, Hospice Kellie Swanson; registered nurses; social worker/bereavement coordinator; spiritual counselor; hospice aides; volunteer coordinator; and volunteers. The dedicated hospice team offers compassionate care, comfort, support, and expertise in pain and symptom management, so clients can take part in activities they enjoy for as long as possible. The Greenwood House Hospice motto is Making Every Moment Count, as the team strives to help patients enjoy their families, activities, and surroundings for as long as possible.Greenwood House Hospice is one of a few New Jersey hospices that have been accredited by The National Institute for Jewish Hospice.
