Homemaker Program

The homemaker program brings qualified and caring professionals to the homes of community residents in need of basic homemaker and personal care services. Services include bathing, dressing, meal preparation, shopping, laundry and transportation to doctor appointments.

When you contact Greenwood House for yourself or a loved one, a basic client profile will be taken over the phone or in person, including current medical needs and physical limitations.

A registered nurse will make an initial home visit to assess the individual and prepare a care plan for our staff. We require a minimum of two hours per visit for all clients. All care providers are Certified Home Health Aides or Certified Nurses Aides. A registered nurse reviews all cases on a 30 and 60-day cycle to ensure client and family satisfaction, as well as to update health status records.
