Dementia Care

Caring for someone with dementia requires special skills, patience and understanding. The staff at the Robert and Natalie Marcus Home for the Jewish Aged has special training and extensive experience in dementia care for residents with varying degrees of Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia and are able to provide care in safe, secure and cheerful surroundings. Staff provides ongoing assessments to ensure appropriate care planning and memory enhancement exercises and activities are provided to accommodate the cognitive and functional abilities of each resident along with daily social activities.
