Dementia Care
Caring for someone with dementia requires special skills, patience and
understanding. The staff at the Robert and Natalie Marcus Home for the
Jewish Aged has special training and extensive experience in dementia care
for residents with varying degrees of Alzheimer’s disease and other forms
of dementia and are able to provide care in safe, secure and cheerful surroundings.
Staff provides ongoing assessments to ensure appropriate care planning
and memory enhancement exercises and activities are provided to accommodate
the cognitive and functional abilities of each resident along with daily
social activities.
